The all-in-one flow computer

Steam and gas density change with temperature and pressure, so volume alone is not enough for true energy accounting. Traditionally that meant a flow meter, pressure transmitter, temperature sensor, and separate flow computer.

The VX 570 integrates vortex sensing with onboard temperature and pressure measurement, calculating mass or standardized volume flow at a single connection point.

Steam, gases, and liquids

For saturated and superheated steam, density-compensated mass flow (kg/h) supports boiler efficiency and departmental cost allocation. For compressed air and mixed gases, the physical vortex principle stays useful even when composition shifts slightly. For liquids and condensate, it is a strong alternative where magnetic meters struggle with non-conductive fluids.

Built for rough plant conditions

Digital signal processing helps separate vortex frequency from pipe vibration noise. Stainless construction with no moving parts supports long service life. High turndown keeps readings useful from peak production down to lower weekend loads.
